Do Silverstein ever stop touring? We were lucky enough to catch them last year to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their acclaimed 2005 album Discovering The Waterfront, and the year before with Blessthefall. Since then? Well there was the Vans Warped Tour, and another round with Senses Fail. So that fifteen-year career of theirs? It’s been very full.

The Canadian post-hardcore stalwarts have been to the rodeo and back, all the while showcasing their signature blend of screamo verses and hooky choruses to a fan base that just doesn’t quit. With 2015’s concept album I Am Alive In Everything I Touch, Silverstein nods to the past while taking an ambitiously grittier, more hardcore approach. The chapters contemplate life on the road in a mature, landmark-based work that doesn’t make you think too hard, but rather stays grounded in their long-perfected sound.

If Silverstein’s sonic ride sounds like your thing then get to El Corazon Wednesday, March 9, with special guests Being As An Ocean, Emarosa, Coldrain & Rarity
