Tegan and Sara are giving Seattle another look on the 11th, filling up the Paramount with their charm and allure, and of course their lovable brand of awkward banter. We should feel lucky, as this is the first of a meager eight-date run, capped off in Hawaii ten days later. Tegan and Sara visited most recently in September as the middle act for Katy Perry’s tour, where everything was, indeed, awesome.
This show will be bitchin’, in case you’re needing any further clarification. Opening bands include San Fran-based Waters, who are mind-numbingly catchy, and Canadian slacker pop trio The Courtneys, who remind us of why we love music in the first place. Let’s remind these guys why they should keep coming back. Go show some Seattle pride, buy a ticket, and make an otherwise dull Tuesday night unforgettable.
