The beauty of this years December to Remember concert series was the depth in music range. From well established bands over the years to 2012’s big break out artists, and even some of the bands just beginning to make big waves across the world. This show brought two news bands about to release their first full length album.

I have been enjoying listening to Sheppard’s popular song “Let me down easy” on the radio home from work for little over a month it was whole new experience seeing them live. Maybe its the fact that I am just a few feet away from them, the feeling of the loud music across my skin, the bright lights, or the fact that they have traveled from Australia. The three siblings that make up the front of the stage Amy, Emma, and George Sheppard were all a thrill to watch live. Their stage presence was one that was unmatched from other opening bands through the entire December to Remember shows. The reactions from the crowd left the impression that they were a local band. For a band with a new EP and a ten hour flight across the world the popularity from Sheppard in the US was extraordinary. From the start the end Sheppard entertained the crowd with they indie pop rock music with energetic moved, vocals, and melodies. It will not be long before Sheppard are back in the U.S with this early fan following.
