Tuesday night the indie rocking, Australian loving, acoustic music fans of Portland filled the Wonder Ballroom to enjoy the first night of the Missy Higgins tour. Opening for Missy Higgins included Butterfly Boucher and Katie Herzig. Such a tight group of musical acts, during each of the opening acts the Missy Higgins came out on stagy and played a song that the two bands had written together. Collaborative work with a bunch of amazing artists that love touring together and playing music together. It was something special and exclusive you could only hear by seeing them live. Missy Higgins first night of the US tour at the Wonder Ballroom was being supported by her newest album The Ol’ Razzle Dazzle. The album which she had collaborated on several songs with her opening bands made this tour so tight. It was an awesome night full of great music, great artists from a different continent, and great people from the local area all gathering to enjoy some music.
