It’s been 27 years since “Jane Says” came out and you’re still singing along with the alt-rock classic like it was yesterday. And now maybe you’re feeling a bit old. Not to worry, Jane’s Addiction will be performing their influential 1988 album Nothing’s Shocking in its entirety next week at the storied Showbox theater, and the crowd will surely all be in the same boat. And relishing it. The powerful live performances of JA have garnered them a tribe of lifelong fans despite only having released four studio albums in total. But gone are the days of non-commercial musical success, and this is a band that has survived its drama. If you’re one of their tribe, expect this show to be epic: full of powerful guitars and quirky performance. And if you’re lucky enough to find a ticket to this sold out night, we’ll see you there!
