Preview: NadaFest 2018
Substation, Seattle, WA
10.19.18 – 10.21.18

For the fourth annual NadaFest, nothing has changed—and that’s a good thing. The DIY festival, hosted at Frelard’s Substation, is still stacked with three days worth of little bands that could, and should, be on your radar. And its costs are still covered by the club and promoter, leaving 100% of the door money for the bands. And it’s still only $10 a night.

The one thing that has changed is the lineup, minus a few returning favorites, but it’s still entirely curated out of NadaMucho’s lists of emerging local acts they’ve been keeping an eye on for the last four years: #41for2018#41for2017#41for2016, and #41for2015.

Whether being in on the next big thing before any of your friends is something you’re into, or you just want to fill up on great indie efforts before the onslaught of holiday fluff, NadaFest is your ticket. Past acts have included bands like Ever So AndroidDonormaalSnuff ReduxMonsterwatch, and Steal Shit Do Drugs to name more than a few names that have since been blowing up the scene.

So what’s in store this year? Catch the rock/punk/fuzz of Dirty Dirty, the surrealist pop of Strawberry Mountain, the sweet punk rock riffs of Beverly Crusher, the dizzy horn-core of Actionesse, and the glitchy, experimental hip-hop of Nauticult, among plenty of others. 24 to be exact.

Here’s the full lineup for your teasing pleasure:
