Headlining a quick seven city US tour in between extended stints in Australia, Japan and Europe, Jurassic 5 will be stopping by The Showbox on Friday for what’s sure to be a night to remember. The group, reunited in 2013 after a six year departure, are preparing to rerelease their touted 2000 full-length debut album Quality Control. Their brand of alt hip hop has garnered them a steady and loyal fanbase, despite not having released a new album since 2006’s Feedback.
With precise lyrics and a powerful stage presence, the original six members of J5 are sure to impress longtime fans and newbies alike. Be prepared their infectious energy, audience participation, and an epic setlist full of classic tracks to get down to.
