Bane w/ Backtrack

Massachusetts-based hardcore punk band Bane made a visit to El Corazon on Wednesday night, trekking the states before continuing on to Europe this summer. Upon the 2014 release of their final album, Don’t Wait Up, Bane’s future return is questionable; what’s not, however, is the indelible mark they’ve left on the scene, known most for their promotion of equality and unity. Presumably their last visit to Seattle, Bane lit up El Corazon with a fire that burned deep and bright. The moshing began posthaste, and the interaction between stage and pit was bridged with outstretched mics, screaming faces, and pointed fingers. The house rocked through both Backtrack and Bane, giving a fair sendoff to a two-decade-old hardcore legend. If you have the opportunity to catch Bane on any of their remaining dates, take advantage!
