Call them reunited if you must, but did they ever actually break up? Even with all the ins and outs, starts and stops, Cleveland’s Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are still one of the most renowned hip hop groups in history. It’s hard to believe that it’s the 20th anniversary of BTNH’s quadruple-platinum-selling album E. 1999 Eternal, but next week, all five original members will take over the Moore theatre to perform the album in its entirety, and you won’t want to miss it.

It’s bound to be vintage 90’s at its best – the quick-tongued rapping, the mystical harmonies – only we’ve all had 20 years to marinate in the sounds that have come to represent an irreplaceable time. BTNH has somehow managed to take violent themes, spirituality, and marijuana and mix them up into a wicked brew of heightened emotions that sway from dark to light with success. Tracks like the welfare-check referencing “1st of tha Month” and the Grammy-winning, Eazy-E-dedication “Tha Crossroads” will take you back. Expect a crowd that knows all the lyrics.

Get your tickets here before they’re gone.
