His music lies somewhere in the middle: between mainstream and Christian, between folksy singer-songwriter and hip hop, between spoken word slam poetry and teenage angst pop. Mat Kearney’s Just Kids – his fifth full-length – brings all of this together in the most digestible way.

His last album Young Love ousted Adele from the #1 spot on the iTunes charts back in 2011, and it’s runaway hit “Ships In The Night” spurred a creative run for Kearney, inspiring vast songwriting in the same vein. Thus Just Kids is full of catchy, more electronic sounds than ever before while still retaining his relatable lyrics and endearingly youthful sense of romantic hope.

Kearny comes to Seattle on the second night of his Just Kids tour, with special guests Parachute and Judah & The Lion.
