Robin Bacior
Rendezvous, Seattle, WA
01.10.15

The multifaceted and skillful Robin Bacior will be visiting Seattle on Saturday at the Rendezvous, filling the corners of the nearly-centurial building with rich sound and light. A Portland transplant by varying degrees of choice, Bacior is a California native who has spent (and who may argue, overspent) her time in New York. She arrives in the Pacific Northwest to welcome arms and, hopefully, the realization that broken paths can also yield unforeseen grace.

Bacior’s second full length album, Water Dreams, tackles expectations and, inversely, navigating things which one cannot control; in dreams, as in life, choices become fluid. Bacior’s candid, quiet jabs are self-inflicted, as she wades the tide but never stops to tread. Mesmerizing cellist Dan Bindschedler takes his hand at wingman once more, as the duo set about again to find the perfect complement to life’s chaos.  Water Dreams will be released on January 13th.

Accompanying Bacior at the Rendezvous will be Seattle’s indie pop-rock foursome Moon Dial, who will also be marking the release of their new EP. $6 is all it takes to join the fun and support these great local artists in one of Seattle’s treasured venues.
