Nick Thomas, lead singer of Sioux Falls indie band The Spill Canvas, heads solo to El Corazon next Thursday with his singular brand of acoustic, emo serenity. Released in June, his debut solo album, Shadowars, possesses plenty of parallels with what Thomas also produces with TSC. The essence and magic remains, even for a listener that prefers the full entourage. Thomas will be accompanied by the pop sensibilities of Denver-based band My Body Sings Electric, as well as local openers Kight, Moments, and Dylan Yuste. The show starts at 8:00, and will be worth every bang for your buck at $12.
